  前言

  Vaginoplasty and labioplasty are surgeries for vaginal rejuvenation and cosmesis. Other indications for these surgeries may be functional, ie., to relieve genital discomfort. Both surgeries are becoming increasingly commonplace as more women pay more attention to their sexual wellbeing.

  Vaginal surgeries must involve an understanding of the lower female genital tract and its adjacent organs, such as the rectum, bladder, and urethra. Therefore, history taking must include that related to urination  and defecation; and physical examination must include assessment of these organs. One must bear in mind that vaginoplasty is a form of surgery for mild genital organ descent or prolapse. Hence, the surgeon must rule out other more severe forms of prolapse that require other concomitant treatments.

  This workshop include surgical techniques on:

  1. Vaginoplasty for vaginal tract narrowing

  2. Labioplasty for labia minora asymmetries or hypertrophy
